9ish Degrees

Hey!

It is getting cold out hereeeeee! Today it is 9 ish degrees...celcius... We are well though and warm. We just have to put on a lot of clothes. Today we went out to a national wildlife reserve, kind of by accident. We kind of hitchhiked and the guy asked us if we wanted to go out there with him and we said yes so that´s where we went. It was pretty cool. This week was a good week. We hada few visits and got a bunch of stuff done. The work is going fairly well out here. This week we were able to teach a few families the Plan of Salvation. This is one of my favorite lessons because when the people realize that they are children of God and that He has a specific plan for every one of them, they feel like they have an identity and a purpose in this life. We really are very important to our Heavenly Father. He loves us. This is one of the big lessons that I am learning on my mission right now. Everything here is great. I love the mission. I hope that you all have a great week.

Love,

'Goodly Parents' and I Lost My Toenail (graphic photo warning)

Hey!

I really don`t have much to write this week. We were in Rancagua doing meetings and stuff all week, and my comp got sick again, but other than that it was awesome. Plus, I don`t want to write very much because I`m just going to see you on Sunday. But, be that as it may, I do want to share something kind of cool that I saw this week in my studies. If we can all open our Book of Mormons to 1 Nephi 1:1 Nephi starts the entire book out by saying, ``I Nephi, having been born of goodly parents...`` Its cool to see that the example of Nephi`s parents layed out his entire story of being a prophet and being faithful to the Lord. This weekend is Mother`s Day and I just wanted to say thank you for your example and love and teaching me the right way to go. I love you Mom.

Love,

Elder Sayler

Machalí and 3 "Lost" Missionaries

Hey!

This week was a great (kind of slow), but a

great week. We got our changes and I´m staying one more change in Machalí with Elder Sales. Things are going great with him and we are super excited for another change together. Machalí is going well. We had found a ton of new people in the last few weeks, but now we can´t find them anymore, so that´s a little bit frustrating, but sometimes (all the time) you just have to trust in the Lord that He will guide you and bless you with what you need. We are trying to just do what we feel is right. We felt the ´´earthquake´´. Its funny because here in Chile they are so used to it that they call it a ´´tremble´´. It has been ´´trembling´´ non stop for the last week or so, generally pretty low key, but sometimes stronger. Everyone is well though. We are all prepared if there were to be a disaster. Today we had to help the missionaries change their sectors. We were in the bus terminal from 9:30 to 2:30 trying to get everything organized and waiting for the others to get there. In the end, three missionaries got lost and we still aren´t sure where they are, but they aren´t from my zone so I´m not worrying about it hahaha. Monday was a holiday so nothing was open so that is why we are writing today. I love you all. I can´t wait to see you in two more weeks for Skype. I don´t know when or where we will do it, but we will do it. Hopefully its not as awkward as the last time haha Have a great week!
